Main Stats
There are three main stats: Mind, Body and Spirit. Each of them used to calculate all of the attributes of the character. The main stats influence the following:
Mind:

- Compassion
- Inspiration
Attributes
All descriptions are taken from the information that is provided ingame.
Diligence
- Determines the sleep duration. Equation: 10 * Mind + Bonus
Curiosity
- Every 10 curiosity increases bonus experience earned by 1. Equation: 10 * Mind + Bonus
Muscle
- Every 10 muscle increases weapon damage by 1. Equation: 10 * Body + Bonus
Speed
- Determines the hearthling's speed. Equation: 77 + 3 * Body + Bonus
Stamina
- Each stamina point increases max health by 1. Equation: 10 * Body +Bonus
Courage
- Determines the chance the hearthling will flee in combat Equation: 10 * Spirit + Bonus
Willpower
- Determines health regeneration. Equation: 10 * Spirit + Bonus
Compassion
- Determines maximum trapper pet count.
- Increases shepherd animal happiness.
- Each compassion point increases direct healing by 1. Equation: 10 * Spirit + Racial bonus
Bonus
Each hearthling gains a random bonus in each stat uniformly distributed between a minimum and a maximum value, determined by the hearthling's race. For the humans belonging to the three playable Kingdoms, this value is spread between 1 to 9 for all stats except speed, which is spread between 0 to 5.
WARNING: The following may contain spoilers about the game.Hearthlings from the Amberstone clan have a bonus of +15 to speed, but are otherwise statistically the same as human hearthlings.
Hearthlings from the Red Kiln, the Orcs, have a malus of -25 to speed, but have a +30 bonus to Courage and a +20 bonus to Willpower. They are otherwise statistically the same as human hearthlings.
